Established in 2009 through a groundbreaking partnership with the Bridgeport Public Schools, the TSTT Connecticut Region is dedicated to inspiring and preparing the next generation of teachers. The region currently serves nearly 200 high school and college students, offering a continuum of support from classroom learning to college success and career readiness.

TSTT’s Connecticut program currently operates in:

• Central High School
• Harding High School
• Bassick High School

Through these partnerships, students participate in mentoring, academic enrichment, leadership development, and hands-on experiences that help them pursue careers in education and beyond.

Students engage in a wide range of activities that bring learning to life, including:

• College Tours that expose students to diverse campuses and programs
• STEM Enrichment Workshops connecting education to technology, science, and innovation
• Career Exploration Programs that strengthen communication, leadership, and professional skills

TSTT is excited to expand the Connecticut Region by establishing new programs in additional Bridgeport and Fairfield County schools, as well as in districts across the state. Our goal is to ensure that every student, regardless of background, has access to high-quality education, mentorship, and opportunities to become tomorrow’s teachers.
